He is an appraiser and a quantitative analyst, specializing in financial modeling, valuation and risk analysis of various types of financial derivatives and complex structured corporate securities.
Gil has extensive knowledge along with hands-on experience in financial derivatives and structured financial products’ analysis. In 2006, he has established FVQA, an Israeli based workshop for quantitative finance applications.
Since then he has engaged in a wide range of valuation and risk analysis projects, including credit derivatives, structured corporate bonds, interest rates derivatives, ESOPs, complex corporate equity claims and others.

In 2016 Gil joined the financial risk fitness team, where he heads all the quantitative analytics and valuation projects.
Gil´s main clients include financial institutions, private and public corporations and governmental agencies, from Israel, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Germany.
Gil holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tel Aviv, an MBA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Main areas of experience:
· Extensive knowledge and skills in the area of structural models for the sake of mapping complex capital structures and assessing financial risks, including market and credit.
· Extensive experience in deriving and applying quantitative financial model for the sake of pricing financial derivatives, including credit derivatives, interest derivatives, Fx derivatives and others.

Within the framework of his roles in the past decade Omer has served, inter alia, as a partner and the Head of the Consultancy and Financial Department in the accounting firm Baker Tilly Israel, an affiliate of the international network of Baker Tilly International; as a partner in an investment banking firm; and as a senior consultant in the finance department of PWC Israel. Omer is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Accountancy of the Tel Aviv University.
